The East Grand Forks Heritage Village and Century Middle School, East Grand Forks, MN  are teaming up to develop a kiosk detailing the history of Polk County and the Heritage village. Three  6th Grade teachers at Century Middle School, Randy Galstad, Lindsey Ernst, Teri Hammarback are working with the students on this project. The kiosk will be made of four 4 foot wide by 8 foot tall sheets of material hinged in a box type configuration. Students will transfer the information to the sides  under the direction of the teaches. It can be easily moved to a specially built trailer for transporting to events as needed. It will sit under a roofed base at the Heritage Village for all to review 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Lights will automatically  illuminate when needed at night. Completion date is slated for Heritage days 2009, August 15 and 16. If you are willing to help with this project please contact Bernard Hoggarth @ 218-791-6764.
